Global Networking
Managed SD-WAN
SD-WAN technology has matured.
The platforms are capable, well-documented, and the architecture that future network and security strategies are built on top of. The challenge most organizations face is not choosing one, but running it well across multiple sites, carriers, and countries, while applications live in cloud environments they do not fully control.
Globalgig takes that operational weight off your team. We deploy and operate the platform that fits your environment, handle everything from design through to day-two operations, and give your team full visibility through Orchestra Insight (OI). Your organization will have one view, team, and bill, so your IT team focuses on moving the business forward, rather than keeping the network running.

Questions
We manage connectivity in 12 countries through different carriers. Is there a better way?
Yes, and the problem you are describing is one of the most common reasons enterprises work with Globalgig. Managing separate carrier relationships in multiple countries means several contracts, support escalation processes, invoicing currencies, and no single view of what is happening across your estate. Globalgig holds carrier relationships on your behalf and delivers a single managed service, regardless of how many countries your network spans.
How does a LEO satellite integrate with SD-WAN?
LEO satellite can be added as a transport layer in your SD-WAN deployment, alongside dedicated internet, broadband, MPLS, LTE, and 5G. SD-WAN policy management then handles traffic steering across all available transports, based on application priority, path performance, and availability. For sites where LEO is the primary or sole transport, SD-WAN provides the application-aware routing and failover management that optimizes how that connection is used.
Do we need to understand the differences between the platforms to work with Globalgig?
No, this is our job. We assess your environment, priorities, and roadmap, then recommend the most suitable platform, and design the right architecture. You do not need to become an expert in the nuances of the SD-WAN platforms. We already are.
What is Orchestra Insight, and how will it change my organization’s day-to-day operations?
Orchestra Insight is Globalgig’s AI-driven network observability platform. Rather than generating device-level alerts for your team to triage, it correlates events at the service level by surfacing only what actually affects users and presenting it in real-time dashboards your team can act on. You get a live view of network health, availability, and risk across every site, on any device, without having the operational overhead of building and maintaining visibility.
Can Globalgig replace our existing MPLS network?
Yes, or we can run alongside it. Many customers begin by augmenting MPLS with broadband and wireless circuits, improving resilience and cost before transitioning fully. We will recommend the most suitable migration path, based on your sites, contracts, and risk tolerance.
We have sites across multiple countries. Can you support this?
This is exactly what we are built for. Globalgig operates in over 195 countries, and has access to more than 200 global carriers, with local circuit options in most markets. Multi-country deployments are routine, not a special project.
What does managed SD-WAN actually include beyond initial deployment?
Day two operations are where most managed SD-WAN relationships either prove their value, or expose their limits. Our managed SD-WAN service covers circuit procurement, platform configuration, and deployment, then continues with 24/7 NOC monitoring, change management, circuit lifecycle management, firmware and patching, as well as hardware refresh planning.
All managed SD-WAN deployments include Premier Managed Network Services as standard, which means Service Advantage Team access to dedicated Tier 3 engineers with platform certifications, who maintain your as-built documentation, manage escalations directly with platform vendors, and are available 24/7 without you needing to join a support queue. You set the outcomes. We handle everything required to deliver them.
Can private circuits support our SD-WAN deployment?
Yes, EPL and EVPL are commonly used as primary transports in SD-WAN deployments, providing guaranteed performance and dedicated bandwidth that mission-critical SD-WAN traffic requires. When managed alongside Globalgig SD-WAN, private circuits and the SD-WAN overlay are designed and managed as a unified service.
Get More From SD-WAN Than a Platform
The value of SD-WAN depends on how it is designed, deployed, and operated across your real network. Speak to a specialist about your sites, circuits, cloud applications, policies, and support model, so you can avoid a deployment that looks good on paper but becomes harder to manage day to day.
