Industry veteran to lead strategic development of mobile products and services
SAN ANTONIO, TX., February 3, 2021 – Globalgig announced today that Bob Ewald has joined the company, responsible for mobile product and business development including strategic initiatives on eSIM/eUICC, private LTE, 5G, and global private spectrum solutions.
Globalgig is the leading CPaaS (Communications Platform-as-a-Service) provider for mobile and wireless services world-wide, working with industry innovators to develop solutions that deliver results. Currently, enterprise businesses leverage Globalgig’s multi-country SIM for wireless data service in over 200 plus countries, with access to more than 600 mobile carriers. Bob brings in-depth experience in mobile solutions including fixed wireless, IoT connectivity, and private networks. In addition, he brings a deep understanding of the underlying RAN, vEPC Mobile Core, and OSS/BSS platforms that support mobile solutions. Prior to Globalgig, Bob held senior leadership positions at Federated Wireless where he led the product and marketing functions for their CBRS spectrum access service. Other industry experience includes operations, product, and marketing leadership positions at Kajeet, Nextel, and Nextel International. Bob holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
